Assorted Coral Frag

Coral Frags are a sustainable and Eco-friendly way to propagate coral and grow your reef tank. Regardless if originally harvested or aquacultured, there are many options to choose from, including the Candy Cane Frag to the always popular Trumpet Coral Frag, and pretty much anything in between. Coral Frags are attained by a process known as fragmentation, or more commonly know as fragging. Since Coral Frags can come in a variety of shapes, colors and species, it is one of the best ways to to create a wonderful coral garden and still maintain conservation through propagation of fragging.

They contain the symbiotic algae zooxanthellae from which they receive the majority of their nutritional requirements. Additional weekly feedings of micro-plankton or foods designed for filter feeding invertebrates are also needed.
